Welcome to the Thirty Lakes Watershed District. This is the "Revised Overall Plan". This document is intended to help guide management of the District's water resources through 2012. Users of this plan will include: lakeshore residents, engineers, planners, developers, educators local and state government organizations and the Thirty Lakes Watershed District.
Inside this document the reader will find a unique resource management plan for each of the 52 lakes located within the District's boundaries, as well as data and guidance for groundwater, ditches, wetlands and streams.

Plan Review and Update Process:
1. After 10 years and six months from Board of Water and Soil Resources (BWSR) approval of this plan, the Managers will adopt and submit to BWSR a proposed outline of the revised watershed management plan, in accordance with Minnesota Statute 103D.405.
2. After BWSR approval of the revised plan outline, the Managers will complete revision of the plan within 120 days. The revised plan will be submitted to the appropriate review authorities in accordance with Minnesota Statute 103D.405 After the District receives comments, BWSR must hold a hearing on the revised plan. After the hearing, BWSR can then approve the District's revised plan.
3. The Managers may amend the District's plan by submitting to BWSR a petition or letter of application for the proposed amendment. BWSR must hold a hearing for the plan amendment, after which BWSR can approve or order revisions to the amendment.
